Break Free

RUBY ROSE. Turning me on since 2007. A short film about gender fluidity. She is one of the most beautiful people in the world. I knew she was gorgeous but I didn't know SHE WAS THIS HOT.

Red at The Rocks

Some snippets of my week 2 weeks ago. Been wearing a lot of black and red these days.

The Rocks is an urban locality, tourist precinct and historic area of Sydney's city centre, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is located on the southern shore of Sydney Harbour, immediately north-west of the Sydney central business district. The precinct and its immediate surroundings are administered independently of the local government area of the City of Sydney, by a New South Wales state government statutory authority, the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority.
The close proximity to Circular Quay and the views of the iconic Harbour Bridge, as well as the historic nature of many of the buildings, makes the Rocks very popular with tourists. It features a variety of souvenir and craft shops, as well as many themed and historic pubs. The Rocks Market operates each weekend, with around 100 stalls. During the week, shopping options include galleries exhibiting Australian artists, such as Ken Done and Ken Duncan, as well as Australian clothing and Australian opal shops. There are numerous historic walks through the area, visiting historical buildings such as Cadmans Cottage andSydney Observatory, and the Dawes Point Battery, which was the first fortified position in New South Wales.

A passenger boat terminal and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney is also situated beside the Rocks area. The precinct can also be accessed by rail, as it is within walking distance of Circular Quay station.

Opening night of the Bleu Blanc Rouge French Festival. Vive la France!

Just a short post of our pictures.
I have a lot of backlogs but I'll save for the next 2 weeks as we're quite busy traveling. So far, it's been an awesome July.

Our Story

We read.
Almost at the end.
Looked at him.
He was crying too.
We understood.
Without words.
We knew.
That is why.
We just knew.
No words.
we went back.
To our screens.
No words.
We knew.

The Governor General's House

Whilst strolling around this elegant house with the most beautiful and serene view of the Opera House and the sea, we have agreed that this was the perfect place for a wedding reception (if God and money would allow). We also wouldn't mind living here.
Government House is the name of many of the residences of Governors-General, Governors and Lieutenant-Governors in the Commonwealth and the remaining colonies of the British Empire. It serves as the venue for the Governor's official business, as well as the many receptions and functions hosted by the occupant. Sometimes, "Government House" is used as a metonym for the Governor or his office.

Government House is located in Sydney alongside the Royal Botanic Gardens, overlooking Sydney Harbour, just south of the Sydney Opera House. Constructed between 1837 and 1843, the property has been the official residence of the Governor of New South Wales since Sir George Gipps in 1845, except for two brief periods; the first between 1901 to 1914, when the property was leased to the Commonwealth of Australia as the residence of the Governor-General of Australia, and the second from 1996 to 2011.  The property was returned as the Governor's residence in October 2011 and was managed by the Historic Houses Trust of New South Wales from March 1996 to December 2013. -wiki

Game Of Thrones, The Exhibition

Fans who were desperate for a Game of Thrones fix after the dramatic season four final
looked forward to a new exhibition in Sydney this July.
To celebrate the launch of Game of Thrones season four on Google Play, HBO and Google Play
brought Game of Thrones: The Exhibition to the Museum of Contemporary Art.
The exhibition was specifically created to bring the enchanted world of the show
and its characters to life.
It included interactive installations and a collection of nearly 100 original artefacts taken
from the show up to and including the most recent season.

We went there on the first day but we weren't ready for the 4 hour wait so we opted to wake up early
and go the next day. Boy, we were so wrong.
The line was longer and it took us 7 fucking hours to get into the exhibit.
Mark and I were very unhappy but it was a good bonding experience for both of us.
We also looked at the bright side. Listened and talked to a lot of funny people...it was like one big picnic.
We arrived around 11...got in around 6.

There were costumes, props, armour and weapons, an Iron Throne and an interactive experience that took visitors to The Wall at the northern frontier of the Seven Kingdoms.
This was THE BEST part of the exhibit though. Watch the youtube clip at the bottom to know more about this simulator. It really felt like you were going up The Wall! Cold wind and all! I had to hold on to the railings!

These costumes are my favorite part. Lovely details!

In the end, it was all worth it. Since Mark and I are such HUGE fans, I didn't want to miss this. Hey, it might be the only chance we have. So far, we've seen Star Wars, Harry Potter and now, GoT The Exhibition... waiting for a Mad Men one.

WHAT: Game of Thrones: The Exhibition
WHERE: Museum of Contemporary Art
WHEN: July 1-5
COST: Free
